SLJ floral insect art

Hello readers
Today at home I have been doing the summer learning journey and in the slideshow there was a video for us to watch and it was about a man who does art by making insects with the objects from his garden then I made this moth. The body and the anntenae part was made out of a twig and the wings were made out of these leaves i found on my tree in my backyard. Finally, the circles on the anntenae were made from green leaves that are cut into these tiny circle shapes. Here is the moth that I made

  1. Kia ora Matthew,

What a beautiful moth! I love your attention to detail, especially with the ends of the antennae and shape of your wings. I also really like the colour of your wings, I think they look amazing. I bet this moth is a graceful flyer.Ka pai on a fantastic job! I really like the fact that you can zoom into your picture too!

What are you going to name your creation? If you had more materials, what other insects could you make from nature?

Perhaps you could add some text explaining what your moth eats and where it lives.

    Keep up the great work!

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)
